The DroneMasters Meetups provide the leading global cross-industry meeting point for vertical mobility and drones. Experts and enthusiasts from all areas share ideas and experiences to shape the sustainable use of drones.
Following Chatham House Rules, four to five speakers share their insights within "60 minutes of full droning". The timeframe for each speaker is limited to 10 minutes to keep it entertaining. After showtime, all participants are encouraged to meet up and networking on location or online.
The presentation language is English.
Since 2015, the DroneMasters Meetups connect relevant stakeholders from business, science, politics, and society. More than 4,000 experts and enthusiasts from all industry sectors have already participated in the DroneMasters Meetups in Africa, Europe, and North America to share knowledge, present projects, trigger developments, and promote the sustainable use of lower airspace.
The DroneMasters Meetups were hosted by the African Drone Forum, Airbus, Allianz, Amazon, Daimler, ETH Zurich, the European Commission, the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology, HP, Microsoft, Porsche, and Volkswagen, as well as start-ups such as Nightingale Security or Wingtra. Cooperation partners included the London School of Economics, the World Air Sports Association FAI, the Association of the Automotive Industry, and the German Aerospace Industries Association.
